Lilā Tatva: Chandrāvali is an expansion of Radharani

Lila means a drama. A drama consists of a variety of moods like Māna (anger), Avimāna (pride), Sanśaya (doubt), Lajjā (shyness), Bhaya (fear), etc. that makes it interesting. This variety of moods and plot twists in a pastime is called Lilā Vaichitri. The Chamatkriti (astonishing taste) relished by Yugal Kishore in pastimes of Prema through such Lilā Vaichitri is unique. Sometimes Yugal Kishore meet, while sometimes They don’t. When They are not able to meet each other, They become very anxious and Their yearning to meet becomes monumental. When Yugal Kishore meet with such intense yearning, the Chamatkriti relished by Them at that time is much more than pastimes where there is no separation. Although the Prema of Yugal Kishore is indestructible and uninterrupted, with the help of Lilā Shakti (Yogamāyā), They relish Nitya Navāyamāna pastimes . [The pastimes of Goloka Vrindavan are eternally new. Lilā Shakti creates new pastimes every day. The pastimes Yugal Kishore relished today wi...

Līlā Tatva: Māna Lilā

The relationship between the Jivatma and God is eternal. Even if Krishna wants to end this relationship, He cannot do so. Krishna sits in the hearts of all Jivatmas. The Jivatma has forgotten this Sambandha (relationship) due to Mahāmāya. To free oneself from the snares of Maya, one must remember this relationship. The more this Sambandha reawakens in the heart of a Jivatma, the more he becomes free from Maya. So, Krishna is Sambandha Tatva. Bhakti is Avidheya Tatva which is the medium to attain Krishna. Radharani, the personification of Prema, is Prayojan Tatva which is the ultimate goal of our Bhakti. It is the nature of Krishna to extremely love His devotees. Among all the forms of God, Krishna is the most Premamaya (full of love). The moment a devotee starts loving Him a little, He starts following his footsteps (to care, protect and love him). Also, He is Adoshadarshi , meaning, He never sees anyone’s faults. Attracted by such qualities of Krishna, Radharani became madly ...

Līlā Tatva: Prema Vilāsa Vivarta

[In Baba’s humble words…] I don’t have much expertise in explaining the deep topics of Sringara Rasa (conjugal mood of love). Since devotees have requested me to speak on the topic, I must explain it based on the words of our six Goswamis, Acharyas experts in the topic of Rasa and the scriptures. If one speaks on such topics based on his own intelligence, there is a high possibility of describing things incorrectly. In Raya Ramanada Samvād, Raya Ramananda described Radha Tatva, Krishna Tatva and Prema Tatva. But Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu asked him to speak about deeper topics of Mādhurya Rasa. Raya Ramananda, who was Vishakha Sakhi in Krishna’s pastimes, was surprised and thought, ‘Is there anyone in this world who wants to know about even deeper topics beyond Radha Krishna and Prema Tatva? No ordinary human being can desire to know even higher topics than this. (All ordinary sadhaks strive to know their own eternal form and the Tatva of God. The highest Tatvas of God are Radha Tatva,...
